Dr. Steinerberger is Professor of Mathematics and Professor of Applied Mathematics at the University of Washington. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Bonn in 2013 and works at the interface of pure and applied mathematics. His research spans harmonic and real analysis, partial differential equations, probability, combinatorics, data science, and mathematical physics, with contributions to problems ranging from spectral theory and graph theory to geometric analysis and optimization.
