Dr. Iosevich is currently Professor of Mathematics at the University of Rochester where he also serves as the Director of the continuously running StemForAll undergraduate research program. He earned his PhD in Pure Mathematics from UCLA in 1993 supervised by Christopher Sogge and spent the subsequent two years as a Postdoctoral Researcher at McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario. Prior to his arrival at the University of Rochester in 2010, Dr. Iosevich served both Georgetown University as Associate Professor and the University of Missouri-Columbia as Full Professor as well as stints at both MSRI (Berkeley) and the Fields Institute in Toronto. His current interests include Harmonic Analysis and Geometric Measure Theory, Data Science and Neural Networks, Additive Number Theory and Discrete Geometry, and Analytic Number Theory.
